A TETCOTT woman has been recognised for her musical contributions to the community.
Myrtle Rooke was presented with a certificate of recognition from Heather Merritt and Marina Axford at the Christmas carol concert on Sunday, December 21.
Myrtle has been playing the organ at Tetcott Methodist Chapel for 65 years. She started at the age of 15 when living at Moortown in Tetcott.
Mytrle has also been a leading light in producing and directing variety shows spanning many generations in the village and more recently forming 'The Arscott Ladies' choir.
