This picture, of a newly arrived mute swan, was taken at Bude Canal recently. The picture was captured by Ray Parnell of Kilkhampton on March 23 at 8am on the canal, near the bridge by The Falcon Hotel. It comes as a nice surprise following the death of the previous two swans which were not going to be replaced.
