TWENTY-NINE students and five staff from Shebbear College enjoyed a wonderful, action-packed tour to Barbados during the Easter holidays.

As well as some success on the sports fields, the group experienced some great trips on their days off — the highlight for most being the catamaran cruise which saw them swimming with the turtles.

There was also the chance to try their hand at jet skiing, as well as numerous opportunities to swim in the beautiful Caribbean Sea.

Though the cricketers had a difficult time as they came up against some very talented young Bajans, when they turned to football they met with much more success, while the girls won nearly half of their dozen netball matches against some very strong opposition.
