LAST week the Post reported on the Hi-5 Talk Time Café’s Winter Wonderland Christmas party, held in Bude.
The Hi-5 Talk Time Café, a group for parents and carers of children with additional needs, is now based at the former Oceans Community Centre on The Strand and no longer at The Sensory Room.
After just one year of being open, the group has been steadily growing, and seven families regularly attend the weekly ‘pop-up’ café.
Volunteers are also increasing, and a group spokesman said: “We still have a lot more to do in finding those families we know are ‘slipping under the radar’, but it is a great start after only one year of being open!”
The magic of Winter Wonderland was enjoyed, with Santa, snowmen and a fire engine!
The café re-opens on January 9. Find them on Facebook.
