CAMELFORD Royal British Legion president Robin Moore took centre stage at a presentation.

Chairman Mrs Lesley Valentine spoke of his dedication to the branch by being their long-term treasurer — he had served in that position since the branch reformed in 1999.

She also spoke of the delightful afternoons spent in his garden with a summer barbecue and of the dozen summer trips he organised.
