ST TEATH Carnival held last weekend was lucky enough to avoid the showers and the sun came out for the procession.

The variety of entries was a credit to the carnival following a growing carnival week.

As well as the usual bingo and quiz night, there was live music in the White Hart, a Punch and Judy show on the village green, and the Football Club brought back 'Fun Night' which the committee hope to build on next year.

'Jumping Out' Jazz Band contributed this year to the mix of musicians, and kept everybody entertained while playing on the church steps before and after prize giving.
