HOLSWORTHY Community College's former Year 11 pupils were recognised for their achievements gained whilst studying at the college, many for the past five years. A presentation evening was held in the Memorial Hall and this year's speaker was Natalie Cole, an ex-pupil who studied at the college from 1989 to 1994. Awards were presented to: Alice Cordes, the Anne Betts Award for Vocational Education; Ian Sharp, the Honora Broad Prize for attendance over five years; Lauren Averall, The Woodward Progress Prize; Eleanor Northey, the Sue Smith Music Personality Award; Bradley Howells, CYPS Spirit of Devon Award; Samantha Lock, Rotary Award for Service above self; Luke Storry, the Bumby Family Award for Science and Technology; Haydon Beagley and Luke Storry, Science ASSEC Club and Anna Alvsaker, Principal's Prize for Academic Excellence.
