SIX students from Launceston College can claim to have undergone a 'life changing experience', having completed the 125-mile Devizes to Westminster International Canoe Race. The three junior doubles teams were joined by two staff endeavour crews in taking on the four-day challenge, while further help was provided by the students' parents and family. The Devizes to Westminster International Canoe Race starts in Devizes, Wiltshire, and finishes just downstream of Westminster Bridge in central London, opposite the Houses of Parliament. The race has been held annually over the Easter weekend since 1948. For the full report, and a round-up of the local news and sport, see this week's edition of the Post.
