AFTER a summer of weekly farmers' and craft markets since April down at the Wharf in Bude, the local traders finished the year off by putting on plenty of thermals and joining the festive fun as part of the Bude late night shopping event.

Neville Padgham the organiser of the market (who also has Wharf Woodcraft down at the Wharf) said: "This year's event went really well. We are all really pleased that more people are coming down to the Wharf to support the markets, we even got a visit from Father Christmas!"

The weekly Friday market, which will begin, again on April 6 (come rain or shine!) has a good selection of local fresh produce and hand made crafts.
