POLICE would like residents to be aware of some suspicious circumstances in Holsworthy.
Before Christmas, police have received a small, but notable, number of reports of burglaries and attempted burglaries to outbuildings in rural areas around Holsworthy.
A police spokesperson said: “These have occurred in the St Giles and Broadwoodwidger areas specifically, but we would ask residents in all areas to remain vigilant and to report any incidents or concerns.”
Anyone who sees anything or anyone they consider suspicious is asked to contact police via [email protected] or by calling 101. If an incident is ongoing, call 999.
Information can also be passed anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers by calling 0800 555 111 or reporting online at www.crimestoppers-uk.org
