Police are investigating several incidents of rural crime in the East Cornwall area, including the theft of a quad bike and vandalism of a tractor.
Between 7pm last Saturday (January 16) and 7am the next morning, a red Honda Fourtrax 350 quad bike and galvanised 6ft by 4ft Wessex trailer were stolen from the St Breward area. Anyone who can help is asked to quote reference CR/004095/21
Overnight from Friday to Saturday, January 15 to 16, entry was gained to a barn at Linkinhorne and a lawnmower and black diesel generator were stolen. Reference CR/004067/2.
Some time between 9pm last Wednesday (January 13) and 4 am on Friday, January 15, a tractor was started on private land near Crowdy Reservoir and driven into a shed causing significant damage.
The offenders vandalised the tractor before leaving the scene. Reference CR/003917/21.
During the small hours of Wednesday, January 13, offenders entered a garage, outbuilding and shed on a farm near Camelford (Reference CR/003079/21) and in the early hours of the following day an attempted theft of a Red Honda Quad bike took place at a farm in the Advent area (CR/004386/2).
Overnight from Thursday to Friday, January 7 to 8, a quantity of heating oil was stolen from a domestic tank in Altarnun (CR/002018/21 ).
