POLICE in Holsworthy want to encourage people to contact them directly if they witness any anti-social behaviour in the town after receiving third party reports.

PCSOs have received third hand reports of anti-social behaviour and other concerning behaviours occurring in the Stanhope Park area on a regular basis.

The neighbourhood team wrote on social media to encourage residents of the town to contact them with any reports of anti-social behaviour. They said: “We are trying to build an intelligence picture of the activity in the area and whilst we do patrol the park on a regular basis, we cannot be there all the time and we need members of the public to come forward if they see any suspicious or anti-social behaviour.”

If anyone witnesses anything contact the police on 999 in an emergency or call the non-emergency line 101 or email [email protected]

Two children’s toys valued at £55 which were bought as Christmas presents were stolen from the boot.

Police are asking the public to remain vigilant as this time of year can see opportunist thefts and burglaries take place, as people leave gifts and presents on view.
