POLICE are appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage following a fatal collision near Lifton on Monday.

At around 5.10pm on Monday, October 28, a two-vehicle collision occurred on an unnamed road between Lifton and Sprytown, Devon.

The collision occurred between a Red Kawasaki ZX 12R motorcycle and a Silver Honda Jazz.

Sadly, the rider of the motorcycle, a 65-year-old man from Okehampton, was pronounced deceased at the scene. His family have been informed and are being supported by specialist officers.

The 83-year-old female driver of the Honda Jazz was taken to hospital and later discharged with minor injuries.

The road was closed to allow an investigation to take place.

Police would like to speak to anyone who was in the area and witnessed the collision, or may have dashcam footage of the incident or leading up to it.
