POLICE are appealing for information following a break-in at the Launceston Town Council grounds maintenance team site on Thursday, August 29.
Police are investigating a break-in at the Launceston Town Council site in Meadowside.
The incident is thought to have happened some time between 4pm on Thursday, August 29 and 7.45am on Friday, August 30.
Offenders entered a truck at the site and stole a Stihl leaf blower and two half empty cans of petrol.
A window was also damaged on the workers’ hut.
Launceston Town Council have also since reported that town council uniforms, high-vis jackets and white hard hats with the Launceston Town Council logo were also taken.
Police were appealing for anyone who saw or heard anything suspicious in the area at the time of the offence to contact them via [email protected] or phone 101, quoting log reference number CR/078480/19.
