FIREFIGHTERS from Delabole, Wadebridge and Bodmin are in attendance at a fire involving a two-storey detached house between Camelford and Tintagel, measuring 15 metres by 20 metres.

After receiving a number of calls at 12:20, the Critical Control Centre mobilised three appliances from Delabole, Wadebridge and Bodmin Community Fire Stations to reports of a fire in a domestic dwelling in Tintagel.

The above appliances are now in attendance and are being supported by a whole time officer and also a water carrier from Wadebridge which was mobilised due to poor water supply.

The fire is believed to have started in the kitchen and has spread to the roof space. Firefighters are wearing breathing apparatus and using hose reel jets to extinguish the fire.
