TWO men are helping police with their enquiries after eight parked vehicles were damaged in Memorial Hall car park, Holsworthy, on Bank Holiday Monday, May 28.

Police were called at 8.45pm following reports of a man allegedly causing damage to vehicles within the Memorial Hall car park in Holsworthy.

A Devon and Cornwall police spokesperson said: “Eight vehicles were damaged in the car park — a mixture of smashed windows and damaged bodywork.”

The vehicles which sustained damage were: VW Transporter van, Vauxhall Corsa, Ford Transit van, two Suzuki motorcycles, Peugeot 206, Ford Focus, Nissan X-Trail, and a Mitsubishi Lancer.

The police said a ninth vehicle, a Peugeot Partner van at Glebelands, was also damaged earlier in the evening, which had its wing mirror punched off.

Police would like to get in contact with the owners of a blue Peugeot and a Ford Fiesta that 'may have sustained some damage' during the incident. The owner’s of these vehicles should call the non emergency police contact number 101 or email [email protected] quoting reference Log 966 of 28/5/18.
