It is fair to say the NHS and key workers across the country deserve recognition for the ongoing work they have had to do in the past 12 months.

In line with this and to show their support, LDLS Lighting and Sound of Bude turned Kilkhampton Church blue on Friday (March 19).

Using their outdoor LED lighting fixtures, they were able to completely transform the front side of the building with the help of their lasers and projectors to display ‘thank you’ messages that could be seen afar.

Three crews worked a twelve hour day to transform the whole of the church yard using over 30 lights and around 400m of cable. The whole display was done free of charge.

Professional photographs and videos of the event were taken by Mark from Bude Drones and Photography, again, free of charge.

Liam Drewery of LDLS Lighting and Sound said: “LDLS Lighting and Sound is a Bude-Based production company that provides for and supports many events in the local community such as Lifeboat Weekend, Bude Carnival, Budelicious and Bude and Stratton Folk Festival. We have the equipment and technical know how to be able to support and manage some of the biggest events in the area. Some other services we offer include installations, hiring of equipment, repairs and sales.”
