THE Callington police team has been made aware of a concerning number of cat deaths in the area of Woodland Way, Gunnislake.

A police spokesperson said: “Whilst there is no specific information that would warrant a criminal investigation, there is a likelihood the cats have been exposed to an unexplained source of Ethylene Gylol, often found in coolant, anti-freeze and other such items.

“Local vets have been consulted and are equally as concerned.”
