IN recognition of his 25 years’ service to Launceston Fire Station a certificate was presented to Firefighter Darren Jackson by CM Karl Hockridge, on behalf of Cornwall Fire & Rescue Service.

Darren retired on October 31 after his last drill night on October 25.

The certificate read ‘Cornwall Council Cabinet and the Chief Fire Officer of Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service have pleasure in placing on record their appreciation of the loyal and faithful service given by Firefighter Darren Jackson whilst a member of the Fire and Rescue service from October 22, 1990 to October 31, 2015.’
