THREE people have been treated by paramedics for the ill-effects of taking legal highs in Teignbridge in just over a week.

The string of medical emergencies has prompted ambulance chiefs to issue a warning about the dangers of taking unknown substances.

Their concerns were highlighted after they dealt with two separate 999 calls in the space of an hour in Newton Abbot.
