THE Army came into Holsworthy Community College on Thursday, October 16 when Year 10 students had their inter-form PE as part of the college collapsed curriculum day.

Year 10s who chose to take the army challenge had a series of realistic military scenarios to complete in their houses. These required teamwork, co-operation, communication and a lot of thinking.

The staff told the students how to complete the tasks efficiently. It was then up to the students to complete it.

These tasks varied from using ropes, to lifting tyres, to moving sandbags and wearing blindfolds. The students had the opportunity to ask the staff about anything they wished. All the students had a go at each of the tasks and clearly thoroughly enjoyed each and every one.
