TREGADILLETT Primary School took part in national Anti-bullying Week, which ran between November 14 and 18.

Throughout the week classteachers and children took part in a series of activities to raise awareness of what bullying is.

The school’s parent council attended an anti-bullying workshop, allowing parents to learn alongside their child through role play and discussion.

The week culminated in a whole school assembly and a non-uniform day.

Children were asked to wear blue to show their solidarity for anti-bullying.

A spokesperson for the school said: “The assembly varied from class to class to ensure we covered all aspects of bullying. Hopefully our children feel that they have the knowledge and power to tackle physical, verbal, online and homophobic bullying.”
