i am reluctant to discuss Memorial Hall business in the 'Post' but I feel some of the facts stated in the report of the users of the Manor Suite's Annual General Meeting need to be corrected.

Firstly, there never were any promises of alterations to the Manor Suite in the Hall's rebuild. They were asked what facilities they would use if we could get the funding. The hall did not receive that funding for the Manor Suite.

The commercial cooker in the Manor Suite kitchen has given trouble and regrettably has taken time to get it back in order. However, the people using the manor Suite kitchen when the cooker was out of commission, were given the option of using the new kitchen and cooker in the main hall. This offer they took advantage of on several occasions, there being door access between the two kitchens.

As the hall is a community building, the hall committee's aim has always been to keep the rent of the Manor Suite as low as possible. Perhaps if we were to increase the rent, it would provide us with the money to spend.

Chairman,

Holsworthy Memorial Hall.
