THE Chief Secretary to the Treasury Danny Alexander visited Blisland on Wednesday, February 20 in support of the dualling of the A30 at Temple.
His visit had been organised by local MP for North Cornwall Dan Rogerson, who attended the meeting with Mr Alexander. They met with local residents and members of the A30 Action Group.
The action group had visited with various ministers, including Mr Alexander, in London to acquire the funding to dual the A30. They gained Governmental support and Deputy Prime Minister Nick Clegg attended the consultation held last month.
