THE Camelford Gallery is set to host two new exhibitions in the spring.

One of the exhibitions will showcase the work of Chris Thomas from Trevalga. Chris has a studio in St Breward and has been painting the new development behind the building.

Gallery owner, John Blight, said: “His work is very wild.”

This will be followed by an exhibition of works by Henry Israel from Tintagel, who passed away recently.

There is also a permanent display at the gallery of the Cornwall Watercolour Society.

Mr Blight said business in Camelford has been in the decline in recent years, with the closure of the three banks and other shops, and he would like to get the message out that the gallery, and town, is open for business.
