HATHERLEIGH Fire Station’s crews attended a number of incidents in Devon last month.

On March 1, fire crews attended a special service call in Holsworthy and a tractor fire in Hatherleigh.

Crews attended a chimney fire in Halwill Junction on March 6.

On March 15, they attended a ‘gain entry’ incident in Hatherleigh.

The crew attended a road traffic collision (RTC) on the A30 near Sourton cross on March 22.

Three days later, they attended another RTC in Langabere, Hatherleigh.

The final incident of the month was on March 28, where a call was received of a smell of burning in Torrington, the crews were not required.

The crew was also called to 20 co-responder incidents during March.
