CAMELFORD students are preparing for a 'huge' arts project this summer with an aim to unite the community and young people.
Pupils from Sir James Smith's School are holding music composition workshops as part of the Moor and Coastal Partnership Trust's 'Journeys' Arts Festival project.
Seven students — Nathan, Bethany, Neve, Jake, Damon, Adam and Adam — were selected to work with Phil Innes, a local musician and composer, to create music for two dance performances that will be choreographed by The Cheap Date Dance Company.
The dances will be performed at Sterts Theatre on July 14 by 15 students of Sir James Smith's Community School and 32 Year 6 pupils at Camelford Primary School.
