THE theme last term at Tregadillett Primary School saw each class learning about personal finance education, which had an impact on all areas of the curriculum.
Each class was given £20 at the start of the term, with the aim of making as much money as possible. Money raised will be used to support work across the curriculum.
Two food fests were held, with each class making and selling different items — Blyton (Class 1) fruit salad; Attenborough (Class 2) jacket potatoes and chilli; Fibonacci (Class 3) smoothies; Nightengale (Class 4) burgers; Mandela (Class 5) hot drinks and biscuits and DaVinci (Class 6) ran a bakery.
A spokesman for the school said: “We would like to thank all the parents who have supported the food festival over the half term.”
