THE revised key stage 4 results in the school league tables have been released.

KS4 data including KS4 MAT (multi-academy trust) results were published on February 6, after a two week delay.

Post area secondary schools’ updated ‘Progress 8’ scores, which measure how much progress pupils have made between the end of key stage 2 and the end of key stage 4, were ‘average’ across the board.

Cornwall: Launceston College, received a below average score of -0.27, with 97% of pupils staying in education or entering employment after finishing key stage 4 and 39% receiving a Grade 5 or above in English and maths GCSEs.

Budehaven Community School received a below average score of -0.24, with 94% of pupils staying in education or entering employment after finishing key stage 4 and 36% receiving a Grade 5 or above in English and maths GCSEs.

Sir James Smith’s Community School, Callington, received a below average score of -0.29, with 97% of pupils staying in education or entering employment after finishing key stage 4 and 31% receiving a Grade 5 or above in English and maths GCSEs.

Callington Community College, received a below average score of -0.5, with 27% receiving a Grade 5 or above in English and maths GCSEs.

Devon: Holsworthy Community College, received a below average score of -0.38, with 96% of pupils staying in education or entering employment after finishing key stage 4 and 25% receiving a Grade 5 or above in English and maths GCSEs.

Progress 8 results are not published for independent or special schools, including Shebbear College and Highgate Hill House School in Whitstone. However, Shebbear College did see 35% of its pupils receiving a Grade 5 or above in English and maths GCSEs.
