RESIDENTS made their voices heard loud and clear during a public hearing on "the biggest thing to happen to Petersfield since the bypass".

The draft Petersfield Neighbourhood Plan went under the microscope during the hearing at the Festival Hall last Thursday and Friday, which was conducted by independent examiner Christopher Lockhart-Mummery.

Petersfield deputy mayor James Deane, who is on the neighbourhood plan's steering group, said: "This is the biggest thing to happen to Petersfield since the bypass. It affects everyone."
