THE master of the North Cornwall Hunt, Ralph Mankee, praised the support from the people of Camelford for their Boxing Day meet.
Members of the hunt gathered near to the Darlington Pub, and were joined by many eager to witness the tradition in the town.
People lined both sides of the street to watch the hunt pass by.
Drinks were served to riders from the Conservative Club before they set off through the town to follow a pre-laid trail up to Bodmin Moor, where they were finished by 2pm.
Ralph said: “It was very enjoyable and the weather was good. Everyone had a great time! It was a day to blow away the cobwebs after Christmas Day!
“There was a large crowd of between 300-400 to see us off and it was a great reception. I’d like to thank the people of Camelford who welcome us each time.”
