A spokesperson for the Holsworthy Bellringers, in announcing the news, said: “We are delighted to share the news that the restoration work on the Holsworthy bells has now been completed by John Taylor and Co, one of the country's leading bell foundries and restoration specialists.

“The project began on the June 30, when the team arrived to dismantle and remove various parts of the bell mechanism, which were then transported to their workshops in Loughborough for careful restoration and repair. Over the past few weeks, their skilled craftsmen have worked meticulously to restore the bells and associated fittings to their former glory, ensuring that they will continue to ring out for many years to come.

“The team returned to Holsworthy on Monday, August 11 to carry out the reinstallation. (We are) pleased to report that the work has been completed to a high standard, and the bells are now fully operational once again.

“We are deeply grateful to everyone who supported this project, and to John Taylor and Co for their expertise and dedication.”
