THIS year Camelford Primary School worked on the themes of 'cyber bullying,' 'schools and community' and 'bullying — what is it and what does it mean?' during the recently held anti- bullying week. This work developed the work undertaken last year on the theme of bystanders. During the week children worked on the SEAL materials to identify bullying and know the difference between bullying and friendship fall outs; what to do if you are being bullied; how to get help and who to talk to. Some of the work studied during the week included Year 1 children studying the real story of Humpty Dumpty who was actually pushed from the wall by some bullying soldiers, and decided ways to support Humpty and know what to do if they see someone being bullied.
