RGB Building Supplies Launceston raises funds during #UptheVolume event

By The Post in Local People

RGB Building Supplies raised over £635 for Children’s Hospice South West during its #UptheVolume event to celebrate Children’s Hospice Week on Friday, May 26.

The week, organised by Together for Short Lives, encouraged people to ‘amp’ up the awareness of children’s palliative care, so staff from RGB’s Launceston branch showed their support by adding bright colours and funky hair to their outfits for the day.

Additionally, the branch held a bake sale to boost the fundraising total.

Branch manager at RGB Launceston, Tony Jackman, said: “Children’s Hospice South West is our chosen charity so the team were keen to get involved. A huge thank you to all our customers who donated to help us raise such a fantastic amount of money.”

Children’s Hospice Week takes place for a week every year. It’s the UK’s only awareness raising and fundraising week for children with life-limiting conditions and the services, like Children’s Hospice South West, that support them.
